In what some have described as being one of the most exciting finals here at J-Bay Mick Fanning has claimed a well deserved win here at the Billabong Pro today.
While Burrow put on a great display to take the lead through the mid section of the final Fanning returned with an amazing ride where he executed some scintilating turns.

How Jeffreys Bay acquired its name.

The town is named after Captain Jeffreys who sailed his cargo ship up and down the East Coast of South Africa on trading expeditions in the 1840�s.

JBay Every surfers Dream
Once a small quite fishing village – now the hub of the Kouga area! The fastest growing town in South Africa!
Jeffreys Bay and the surrounding area has more than one treasure, to be honest the whole Kouga Region is blessed with unique world class eco-systems that are totally unique to the area.
Super Tubes has been an icon in the surfing world for decades and has been rated the best right hand point break in the world.
Many surfers have journeyed thousands of kilometres just to have one of the perfect waves. However on either side of Supertubes, there are other waves that can stand there own against many rated waves.
